Overview The Manager, Manufacturing Engineering provides strategic leadership in executing the production process, driving continuous improvements in efficiency, and ensuring that quality objectives are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing and mentoring teams, focusing on developing talent, driving performance, and fostering collective success to meet organizational goals.
This is an ON‑SITE Role located in Plainview, Long Island.
Responsibilities
Identify and implement strategies to improve production
Oversee the design, implementation and continuous improvement of production methods to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with aerospace standards
Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to Manufacturing Engineering personnel
Drive productivity improvement initiatives for labor and equipment
Develop and report out against key performance indicators
Monitor and ensure financial targets are met
Root Cause Corrective Action activity management
Qualifications
Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management.
Minimum six (6) years of experience in micro‑electronics manufacturing.
OR Masters Degree: Minimum two (2) years of experience in people management. Minimum six (6) years of experience in field.
Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
Additional Information
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Pay Range: $127,457 - $159,321 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
