What we want We are looking to hire a

Clinic Manager

to serve in our Pediatric Dentistry department, overseeing the day-to-day for two of our clinics on-site at the College. This role requires ultimate flexibility and adaptability to promote successful clinic operations. Our ideal candidate will be able to flex between administration/oversight of the clinic and chairside support (RDA, RDH) as necessary to ensure coverage in the clinic. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. What you need to know Proposed Salary:

$60,000.00 annually.

Work Schedule/Location:

Located in Dallas, TX, this an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five years of related experience including at least three years of related supervisory experience. Three years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous or current Dental Assistant, RDA, or RDH.

Previous insurance billing and credentialing experience.

Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.

Previous budgeting experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Clinical and Administrative Coordination:

Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the Dental Clinic ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence, and efficiency. Provides assistance and coordination to support clinical and administrative services for staff. Coordinates workflow and promotes communications between functional areas. Serves as communication liaison to staff and patients to assist in coordination of business activities. Coordinates and assists in logistical and administrative support for events, meetings, and projects. Assists in the resolution of complicated, highly sensitive, and confidential administrative matters. Establishes patient contracts and tracks patients in various departments to ensure continuity of care. Review, adjust, and schedule appointments within the HER for Pediatric Clinic and Special Care Clinic.

Financial Management and Reporting:

Performs accounting and reporting functions for the clinic to include maintenance of clinic revenue and expense accounts. Monitors clinic budget and reporting progress to the appropriate management. Manages the ordering of clinic supplies, approves invoices, and purchase order requisitions. Manages clinic revenue cycle, including treatment estimates, collecting and posting payments, and liaising with billing companies. Prepares documentation for secondary billing and manages accounts receivable by following up with relevant parties.

Staff Supervision and Development:

Supervises and trains office and clinic staff based on established policies. Coordinates staff recruitment, interviewing, and hiring according to organizational guidelines. Assigns work to team based on priorities and evaluates staff performance. Conducts staff meetings and oversees staff payroll according to policy.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Provides compliance oversight to clinical staff. Disseminates correspondence related to clinic compliance and quality assurance reporting. Audits patient records for missing information and insurance documentation. Tracks status of provider licensure, certification, and credentialing paperwork.

Tracks status of provider licensure, certification, and credentialing paperwork.
