Health Science Center. Location: Dallas, Texas. Job type: Staff. About the role: to oversee day-to-day operations for two on-site clinics in the Pediatric Dentistry department, with flexibility to provide chairside support as needed. Responsibilities

Clinical and Administrative Coordination: Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the dental clinic ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence, and efficiency. Provide assistance and coordination to support clinical and administrative services for staff. Coordinate workflow and promote communications between functional areas. Serve as communication liaison to staff and patients to assist in coordination of business activities. Coordinate and assist in logistical and administrative support for events, meetings, and projects. Assist in the resolution of complicated, highly sensitive, and confidential administrative matters. Establish patient contracts and tracks patients in various departments to ensure continuity of care. Review, adjust, and schedule appointments within the HER for Pediatric Clinic and Special Care Clinic. Financial Management and Reporting: Perform accounting and reporting functions for the clinic including maintenance of clinic revenue and expense accounts. Monitor clinic budget and report progress to management. Manage ordering of clinic supplies, approve invoices and purchase orders. Manage clinic revenue cycle, including treatment estimates, collecting and posting payments, and liaising with billing companies. Prepare documentation for secondary billing and manage accounts receivable by following up with relevant parties. Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and train office and clinic staff according to policies. Coordinate staff recruitment, interviewing, and hiring. Assign work based on priorities and evaluate staff performance. Conduct staff meetings and oversee staff payroll according to policy. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Provide compliance oversight to clinical staff. Disseminate correspondence related to clinic compliance and quality assurance reporting. Audit patient records for missing information and insurance documentation. Track status of provider licensure, certification, and credentialing paperwork. Licenses and Certifications Administration: Track status of provider licensure, certification, and credentialing paperwork. Other duties as assigned related to clinic operations and administration. Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience including at least three years of related supervisory experience. Three years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications: Previous or current Dental Assistant, RDA, or RDH. Previous insurance billing and credentialing experience. Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. Previous budgeting experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Work Details

Proposed Salary:

$60,000.00 annually. Work Schedule/Location:

On-site in Dallas, TX, typically Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. Cover Letter/Resume:
