Director of Finance – Americas Region

Location:

Denver, USA (Remote)

Compensation:

$200,000 - $220,000 / year

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the financial and operational success of the Americas region while aligning with the Ebiquity Group’s global strategic priorities. The Director of Finance will lead a small, remote team to deliver financial governance, business partnership, and decision support, and will collaborate across regions to share best practices. This role reports to the Group Finance Director (based in London) with a dotted line to the Managing Director, Americas.

Responsibilities

Act as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director – Americas, supporting decision-making with financial insights and analysis.

Provide commercial support on pricing strategies, RFP responses, contract negotiations, and deal structuring to optimize profitability and competitive positioning.

Monitor and influence business performance with a focus on revenue quality, cost savings, and improved operational outcomes.

Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management, with regular reporting and proactive liquidity management.

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, ensuring reliability and tracking against targets.

Deliver accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting; improve management information with forward-looking data for decision-making.

Implement governance frameworks, including authority limits, capital approval processes, and internal controls; standardize processes and controls across the region for efficiency and audit readiness.

Provide leadership for payroll and benefits administration across the US and Canadian regions, ensuring compliance and process improvements.

Collaborate with Group Finance to maintain consistency in governance, compliance, and reporting standards across regions.

Contribute to long-term financial planning aligned with the Group’s growth and profitability objectives.

Collaborate with systems and technology teams to optimize tools (Power BI, Salesforce, ERP) for financial reporting and decision-making.

Foster cross-regional knowledge sharing and standardized finance practices.

Inspire and develop the finance team, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Americas Managing Director, Group Finance, auditors, and external advisers.

Qualifications and Expertise

10-12 years of relevant experience; Qualified CPA required with strong IFRS knowledge.

Experience as a divisional FD or Group FC, ideally within a larger listed company.

Background in professional, marketing, or B2B services with a digital/online emphasis; familiarity with revenue pipeline management preferred.

Strong understanding of US and Canada regulatory and compliance requirements, including taxation.

Proven ability in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and forecasting processes.

Experience in cost management and margin improvement with cost-control frameworks.

Familiarity with ERP, financial reporting, and CRM tools; experience with system optimization projects.

Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting pricing, RFP analysis, and deal structuring.

Leadership experience guiding finance teams through change; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work across regions, promote knowledge sharing, and develop consistent finance approaches.

Hands-on, deliverables-focused leadership style with focus on team development.
