Broad Overview The Senior Director, Pricing & Contracting will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of pricing strategies, contracting frameworks, and policies that drive profitability, market access, and compliance for the organization’s portfolio. This leader will collaborate cross‑functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence in all pricing and contracting activities for SERBs US portfolio of products across multiple channels. This individual will report to the VP, Value, Access & Trade.

As Senior Director, Pricing & Contracting, your responsibilities will include: Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute enterprise‑wide pricing strategies to optimize revenue, market share, and profitability while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Oversee the analysis and creation of contracts with health systems, IDNs, GPOs, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, and payers.

Lead cross‑functional governance for pricing and contracting decisions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Develop the structure of the US pricing committee and actively participate in the ex‑US global pricing committee.

Operational Management

Establish and manage standardized contracting processes, SOPs, and approval workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Direct the analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer segments to inform pricing and contracting strategies.

Ensure accurate and timely calculation, tracking, and reporting of pricing, rebates, chargebacks, government pricing, state pricing transparency laws and other contractual obligations.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all pricing and contracting activities comply with federal and state regulations (e.g., Anti‑Kickback Statute, Medicaid Best Price, Sunshine Act).

Partner with Legal and Compliance to proactively address risk areas and maintain audit readiness.

Team Leadership

Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Provide strategic guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience, with significant expertise in pricing, contracting, and market access.

Demonstrated success leading complex contract negotiations and developing pricing strategies in a regulated environment.

Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems, market access channels, and applicable compliance regulations.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.

Competitive 401(k), $1 for $1 up to 6% of pay. The safe harbour match is vested immediately. In addition, SERB also offers a discretionary match of up to 4% of pay which vests 20% a year for 5 years.
