Radiology Manager Job Summary Here at BridgePoint, the Radiology Manager performs all imaging procedures within the scope of their training and/or licensure. The Radiology Manager collaborates with the facility leadership and Medical Director for oversight of effective and cost effective provision of the imaging services department, accountability for safe quality patient care, and strategic planning for the department to align with BridgePoint's mission, vision and values. The Radiology Manager oversees and performs clinical functions, which include routine x-rays, ultrasound, echocardiograms, diagnostic catheterization procedures and future modalities. The Radiology Manager adheres to radiation safety practices while administering ionizing radiation (X-Rays) to patients in order to achieve satisfactory diagnostic quality images in accordance with the ALARA principles.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED. Satisfactory completion of ARRT accredited program, accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Licenses/Certification:

ARRT certification required. BLS required.

Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in diagnostic imaging. One (1) year experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred. One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
