Director, Retirement Plan Services Business Operations , to support our vision of becoming one of the top providers of Retirement Plan Services.
Objectives & Outcomes For The Role
Define and activate Retirement Plan Services Relationship Management and Plan Consulting go‑to‑market model and back‑end processes to deliver.
Lead and implement major strategic initiatives by outlining reasons to evolve and the benefits.
Mobilize and engage the RPS organization through transformation and change management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic thought partner to the head of RPS, providing feedback and insights on how to innovate processes and navigate challenges.
Work to improve day‑to‑day processes, drive project management, and analyze performance metrics to enhance effectiveness within RPS.
Lead Business Planning in collaboration with the RPS Leadership Team, to drive organizational vision and strategy.
Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization‑wide goal setting and performance management.
Play a key role in change management and talent development to foster a culture that supports the RPS mission and values.
Model and exhibit enterprise‑wide thinking by collaborating with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders to support the evolving RPS business and retail integration efforts.
Serve as central point of coordination for RPS leadership team, connecting appropriate points of contact, consulting on initiatives, and providing thought partnership and execution as needed.
Facilitate meetings (regular leadership team meetings, offsites, all‑hands meetings, etc.), including curating agenda topics.
Develop and collate content for various internal presentations and discussions.
Field questions and concerns from RPS leadership and broader Workplace Services population.
Project/program management as assigned.
Required Experience
10+ years Financial Services industry experience; relevant strategy and/or project management experience.
Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tracks of work that vary in scope and complexity simultaneously.
Leadership and relationship‑building skills, including ability to influence and drive decisions across all levels of the organization.
Mastery in creating and communicating executive‑level materials to tell a compelling story and drive leadership decisions.
Demonstrated success transforming organizations and influencing others in a highly collaborative environment, while building strong internal and external partnerships and providing coaching and guidance to varied stakeholders.
High level of ownership, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking that enable a Through Clients’ Eyes mindset when carrying initiatives forward and facilitating problem resolution.
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines with little supervision, sense of urgency and proactive approach.
