Jobs via Dice . This is a fully remote position. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML) Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions to create intelligent and automated systems. The role works on various stages of the AI/ML development life cycle, from data preprocessing and model development to deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver AI/ML software solutions.

Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and extract insights from large datasets.

Preprocess, cleanse, and transform data to ensure quality and relevance for training and inference.

Select appropriate machine learning techniques and models based on the problem at hand.

Train and fine‑tune models using various algorithms and frameworks.

Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy, considering computational resources and memory constraints.

Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI/ML models into existing systems or develop new applications.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and contribute to best‑practice adoption within the team.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

Three years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, or a related technical domain.

Knowledge and ability to deploy, manage, and optimize machine learning models in production environments on AWS and Azure.

Ability to trigger CI/CD pipelines after code reviews and approvals.

Fluency in multiple programming languages and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python, C++, JavaScript, R, SAS, Excel, SQL, MATLAB, SPSS).

Proficiency with machine learning algorithms such as multi‑class classification, decision trees, support vector machines, and deep learning.

Strong understanding of probability and statistical models (generative and descriptive).

Ability to run experiments scientifically and analyze results.

Experience with business intelligence tools and technologies such as ETL, Power BI, and Tableau.

Effective communication of technical concepts to technical and business audiences.

Collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders, including analytics, development, product management, and operations.

Independent work ability in a fully remote environment.

Willingness to stay up to date on new ML/AI technologies and their impact on the company.

Willingness to learn new technologies on the job.

Compensation & Benefits The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs; this range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off; hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
