What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Serve as a hands-on technical lead for one or more Scrum teams, ensuring quality and accuracy of technical designs and implementations
Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedules and application integrity
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document solutions that meet business needs while aligning with architectural vision
Mentor and train project team members on development guidelines and best practices
Conduct detailed technical reviews, including code reviews, to uphold high delivery standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in application development
At least 7 years of experience in application design, including converting business needs into solutions and leading option analysis
Proven experience with Cloud applications, preferably AWS, and integrating with non-AWS based applications
Familiarity with Agile development frameworks such as Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
Strong working experience in front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like Angular/React
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with DuckCreek Products, including Policy, Billing, and Data Insights
Knowledge of P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance
Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies and tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube
Experience using Microsoft SSIS and SSRS tools
Understanding of implementing solutions through Gen AI (Artificial Intelligence)
