Kensington Place
is a premium senior living community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care located in Columbus, Ohio. The Executive Director leads the organization, ensuring resident quality of life, regulatory compliance and financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, implement and manage overall operations of Kensington Place, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, agency policies and licensure requirements.
Partner with sales and marketing staff to review sales information, trends and marketing effectiveness, recommending adjustments to achieve census goals.
Provide leadership and direction to staff, including selecting, training, coaching, providing performance feedback, disciplining and terminating employees as necessary.
Serve as a member of the LSS Leadership Team, participating in the Manager‑on‑Call rotation and contributing to strategic planning for new health‑related programs and services for seniors.
Partner with management staff to review budget variances, making recommendations for alterations as necessary to maintain financial health of Kensington Place.
Promote a high quality of life for residents and families, ensuring resident needs are met and working with staff, residents and families to resolve issues in a win‑win manner.
Lead the growth and development of Kensington Place to meet community needs, evaluating, recommending and implementing activities, services and amenities that keep the facility competitive in the market.
Qualifications
Three years of direct operational responsibility at a licensed group home or residential care facility.
Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field or similar.
Preferred licensure as a nursing home administrator.
Flexibility in managing schedule, including weekends and evening hours.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable insured transportation.
