The

Executive Director

of Kensington Place leads a team to create an Assisted and Independent Living Facility that ensures resident priorities of freedom and quality of life by anticipating changing client needs and changing revenue streams. This position is responsible for leading, developing, implementing and managing the overall operations of Kensington Place, including ensuring the facility complies with all Agency policies, procedures, and expectations as well as all current federal, state, and local regulations standards and licensure requirements. The

Executive Director

also serves as a member of the Agency's Leadership Team and will provide direction for the development of new health-related programs and services for seniors, as appropriate. Leads, develops, implements, evaluates, and ensures the ongoing operations of Kensington Place to provide a highly satisfying, comfortable and safe environment for independent seniors and an enticing option for others. This includes, but is not limited to, creating policies/procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and LSS internal policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with Department of Health Assisted Living regulations. Leads the growth and development of Kensington Place to meet community needs. This includes evaluating, recommending, developing and implementing activities, services, and other amenities and appropriate and meets the needs of the resident population and are competitive within the market. Promotes a high quality of life for residents and family members. Instills an atmosphere of resident/customer centric focus. Ensures resident's needs are met to the extent possible. Works with staff, residents, and families to come to win-win resolutions to issues, concerns, or problems. Creates, maintains, and monitors the overall budget for Kensington Pace. Partners with management staff to review variances and make recommendations for alterations as necessary. Partners with sales and marketing staff to review sales information and trends. Ensures marketing efforts are effective and appropriate to meet the census goals of the agency. Makes recommendations for adjustment to marketing efforts as necessary to increase visibility. Provides leadership, development and work direction to the staff of Kensington Place. This includes selecting, training, coaching, providing performance feedback, disciplining, and terminating of employees as necessary. Serves as a member of the LSS Leadership and Department Directors Teams. Participates in the Manager-on-Call rotation at Kensington Place. Requirements For The Executive Director With Lutheran Social Services

Three years direct operation responsibility at a licensed group home or residential care facility. Bachelor's degree in health-related field or similar field Licensure as a nursing home administrator (preferred) Flexibility in managing schedule including weekends and evening hours.
