Position Summary
The Senior OD Partner serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving talent and leadership strategies that strengthen organizational capability and culture. This role focuses on succession planning, leadership development for high-potential talent, organizational design, and translating organizational health insights into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead talent review cycles and succession planning processes for senior leadership.
Identify leadership capability gaps and design targeted development solutions.
Align promotions and transfers with leadership pipeline needs.
Provide strategic consulting on organizational structure and redesign frameworks.
Co‑lead Organizational Health storytelling, connecting talent insights to performance and culture.
Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to embed talent practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
Experience : Minimum 8+ years in HR, Talent Management, or Organizational Development roles. Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with senior leadership on organizational design and talent strategies. Proven experience leading succession planning and talent review processes. Partnered with HR Business Partners to lead and support Change Management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful adoption of new processes, systems, and cultural shifts. Experience partnering on culture-building and transformation initiatives. Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with senior leadership on organizational design and talent strategies. Strong background in leadership development programs, especially for high‑potential employees.
Skills : Expertise in organizational design frameworks, project management, and change management. Strong analytical skills for interpreting org health data and creating compelling narratives. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Focused on strategic partnership building.
Preferred Qualifications
Education : Master’s degree or industry‑recognized certification in organizational development, HR, or related discipline.
Experience in the energy / oil and gas / offshore operations industry a big plus.
Experience in global or complex matrix organizations.
Certification in leadership assessment tools (e.g., Hogan, PI / LI, Korn Ferry, or similar).
Familiarity with HR analytics platforms and data storytelling.
