Position Overview Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist dedicated to breast cancer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering world‑class cancer care. MCI is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is a designated Cancer Center of Excellence by the Florida Department of Health. The physician will join a comprehensive team of five (5) breast medical oncologists and four (4) breast surgical oncologists with robust APP support.

Qualifications Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology (BE/BC). Minimum of 2 years of practice as a medical oncologist in breast cancer preferred. Strong clinical, teaching, and research experience. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to participate in academic pursuits and clinical research, including patient enrollment and data collection.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive treatment options for patients, alongside integrative medicine specialists to optimize patients’ well‑being and quality of life. Candidates must have an interest and passion for teaching, as they will be involved in training the next generation of physicians with Memorial’s ACGME‑accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. The selected candidate will be required to actively participate in clinical research, both through patient enrollment and participation in forums to conduct institutional research initiatives. Ample resources for academic pursuits via affiliations with nearby universities are available.

Employment Details This is a full‑time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
