$70,000.00/Yr. - $80,000.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. About This Job We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Financial Analyst I/II to join our Accounting & Finance team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly, and plays a critical role in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision‑making across the organization.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting deliverables
Analyze and interpret full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Analyze historical data and prepare biweekly forecasts of non-interest income and operating expenses
Develop recurring and ad hoc analytics and models including cost management and personnel/headcount analytics
Analyze and interpret accounting and financial data, conducting trend and variance analysis
Apply core accounting principles and conduct research at the transaction and GL level, developing observations, narratives, and recommendations for senior leadership related to company strategy and goals
Effectively gather and manage data from various sources, validating for accuracy, and transforming data for analysis
Build cross‑functional partnerships and relationships across the organization on projects and process improvements
Own delivery of analysis and initiatives tied to area of expertise, engaging key business partners independently
Partner with leadership to define, track, and report on financial and operational metrics
Manage multiple projects and ensure high‑quality output in a fast‑paced environment
Recommend operational improvements by analyzing business functions and evaluating system capabilities
Support regulatory and audit requirements
Present data‑driven insights to management and leadership, building trust and fostering collaboration
Continuously assess processes and implement operational improvements and solutions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field
At least 1 year of experience in a related analytical role
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data management, modeling)
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to navigate multiple tasks/projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work proactively and as a fast learner in a dynamic environment
Works efficiently, is organized, adaptable, and resourceful, and works well independently
Preferred
Education and/or work experience in Accounting
Experience with applications such as Oracle EPBCS, PowerQuery, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, or similar tools is a plus.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Experience in the banking industry
