• Participate in the preparation of monthly variance analyses, database queries and reports. • Prepare board and regulatory reporting, audit requests, and ad hoc business analysis. Qualifications
Education & Requirements Minimum five (5) years of corporate accounting experience Experience developing complex reports using financial reporting software Experience analyzing, manipulating, and pulling large data sets Statutory reporting experience a plus Managed Care or related industry experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution required Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred Key Qualifications Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and methodologies Proficient in SQL Knowledgeable of large ERP system, preferable Oracle, and Hyperion Knowledge of health care industry principles and strategies a plus Strong knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint Quickly gain an understanding of data requests (scope and purpose) and produce accurate reports Cross-train and back up other areas of the department Work independently or with little direction with strong initiative and meet established deadlines Strong attention to detail Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and management Work cooperatively and effectively on group projects Ability to multi-task and adhere to IEHP policies and procedures Benefits
