Patriot Program Quality Lead (PQL) – Land and Air Defense Systems Location:
Andover, MA, United States Security Clearance:
DoD Clearance: Secret (U.S. citizenship required)
What You Will Do
Interface with program quality teams, programs, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), overseeing technical, quality and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
Manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, vital to the success of this role.
Ensure quality of delivered products and services to customers; manage quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, and collaborate with team members to resolve customer expectations related to Quality and Mission Assurance.
Partner with IPT Leads on Product Issue Investigation and Resolution.
Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for product issues.
Improve processes or systems using quality science tools; gather information across functions to solve undefined problems and issues.
Qualification You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least five years of relevant experience.
Experience with CORS (Cost of Rework and Scrap) and/or COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
Experience providing technical support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Qualification We Prefer
Experience with APQP.
Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or ASQ certification.
Active U.S. security clearance.
Experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations functions.
Strong verbal and written communication and networking skills for upper‑management and customer interaction.
Hands‑on experience solving business and technical problems.
Team player who achieves goals and champions continuous improvement.
Leadership experience.
