About the Position

Siegfried is expanding its National Market Sales Team (NMST) and seeking a dynamic Business Development professional. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious, well‑connected sales professionals to become trusted Leadership Advisors to financial executives at Fortune 1000 companies.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with high‑level financial executives to help them implement critical priorities within Fortune 1000 organizations, including budgeting & forecasting, consolidations, controllership, divestitures/carve‑outs, external audit preparation, financial reporting, financial restatements, GL/month‑end close, IPO readiness, M&A integration, management reporting, process improvement, project management, tax research and reporting, restructuring, SEC & other regulatory reporting, SOX/internal audit/controls, system implementations, and technical accounting.

Participate in workshops, national meetings, and training programs.

Support Managing Directors/Directors in servicing clients and developing new business.

Engage in relationship‑building and strategic networking activities.

Attend weekly networking events, client dinners, or market functions.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in accounting and finance business development.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Strong networking skills – relationship‑based sales.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Highly organized with strong follow‑through.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Ability and willingness to travel 3–6 times annually (after Year 1 of training).

First‑year total compensation package: $187,000–$217,000 per year (base + incentives).
