Overview
Residential Manager role at AIM Services Inc. Location: Saratoga Springs, NY.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned residential program, supervise, evaluate, train, and mentor assigned employees.
Participate in the screening and hiring process for the assigned program.
Train staff in program and person-specific duties and needs, review medical guidelines, rehab plans, and behavioral plans with staff, and coordinate with Health Coordinator, QIDP, or Behaviorist as needed.
Implement and ensure staff documentation of each person’s total plan of support.
Monitor and ensure compliance with required audits, drills, and meetings.
Provide hands-on support and care; assist with daily functions including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping as needed.
Perform medical/health-related functions adhering to AMAP Policy.
Maintain records, ensure filing accuracy, compliance, and updates as needed.
Ensure necessary supplies and inventories are available.
Operate agency vehicles in compliance with policies and laws; document vehicle maintenance and appropriate use of equipment.
Manage funds/ledgers and petty cash for individuals as applicable.
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety policies and regulations are followed.
Schedule management: assign and maintain staff schedules, cover vacations and call-ins, and maintain appropriate staffing patterns.
Remain flexible to ensure contact and observation of all staff while on duty to ensure consistent supports and services.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
3 years of experience working in the field of ID/DD or related field.
1 year of managerial experience.
Willingness to maintain a 40 hour/week flexible schedule, including multiple shifts and days of the week.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
AMAP Certification.
SCIP Certification.
Program Specific Training.
Valid NYS Driver's License acceptable to Agency insurance standards (current/valid insurance card if using own vehicle).
Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, reliable decision making with demonstrated critical thinking.
Adherence to Agency attendance policy.
