Complete assigned projects by creating and editing 2D and 3D CNC programs for the fabrication of models and other components as required. Debug and optimize CNC programs to ensure accuracy and performance. Set up and run CNC machines while checking performance and making improvements as needed. Use CAD/CAM software (such as CAMplete, hyperMILL, and SOLIDWORKS) to adjust designs for shrinkage and material loss during part production. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions. Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Technical college degree in a related field. Blueprint reading and interpretation. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a shop environment. Proficient in 2D and 3D CNC programming. Solid mathematical skills with a strong understanding of CNC software functions, including setup and file editing, and experience working with different model types. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds, as required. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Job Details
Your hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Hourly starting wage: $24.53. Location: Janesville, WI (and related site locations).
