M365 Sr. Exchange Engineer

The Opportunity As a Sr. Microsoft 365 engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and high performing team designing, implementing, and managing a M365 GCC tenant for a government customer. The candidate will be responsible for operational support and service delivery. Work on service delivery initiatives that improve the availability and performance of the managed services and troubleshoot complex incidents.
Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end service support for Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
Participate in service delivery initiatives needed to improve the availability, security and performance of the managed services
Lead or participate in troubleshooting complex incidents with other infrastructure teams
Assist in managing business relationships across internal teams, vendors, and 3rd party providers as needed to deliver managed services
Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and run books for managed services
Monitor the operation of managed services
Communicate with the customer to keep them informed of operational status, progress on agreed deliverables, and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
Qualifications Required:
Ability to attain DHS EOD
BA + 10 years’ applicable experience, AA + 12 years’ applicable experience, Master's degree + 7 years applicable experience or 16 years’ experience
5+ of relevant experience in Architecture and designing solutions in Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365
Must have strong hands-on experience working on Exchange Online
Implement M365 DLP, Purview, Compliance, and Conditional Access
Understanding of Message Retention and Data Compliance Requirements
A full understanding of the Microsoft 365 and Collaboration technology stack
Proficiency in all technical aspects of M365 implementation and Entra ID services is a prerequisite for the successful candidate
Hands on experience with implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core M365 services, including (but not limited to):
Exchange Online – including mailbox migration, EOP, and Exchange Administration
SharePoint Online – including policy enforcement, data protection, governance
Strong Communication Skills – be able to express key ideas and obtain tangible feedback from cross-functional team members and stakeholders
Desired:
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
Experience with Azure Cloud, PowerShell scripting, and Automation

Pay Range Proposal: $98,500-$206,800 (national average for the position)
