Vari is looking for a Senior Manager Paid Media to lead the company's efforts in paid media. The Senior Manager will work in sync with media agency partners to strategize and develop campaigns designed to drive audience growth, engagement and lead and opportunity growth for consumer and business-to-business segments.

The individual must be an experienced media strategist and an effective project manager, who has experience managing budgets and external vendors. The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to provide rationale and make optimization recommendations to an executive audience.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as in-house expert for all media efforts for all in-market and upcoming campaigns, from operational support to performance results

Regularly present performance metrics and spend / budget updates on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to internal leadership and stakeholders

Clearly communicate project objectives, timeline, detailed tasks, and desired outputs to internal and external team members. Monitor the completion of all milestones and update schedules and team members as required.

Dive into data, distilling the key trends and translating the findings into an actionable report

Lead agency media buying strategies and tactical recommendations

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to generate and deliver valuable high-quality leads

Define, obtain approval for, and manage the execution of testing strategies for audiences, messaging and tactical approaches using partner / agency support for execution

Manage media budget with media agencies to maximize performance across lead generation, ecommerce ROI, and brand awareness

Review / QA all agency deliverables, optimizations, and performance on a regular basis to ensure we are meeting business objectives / KPIs Requirements

Manage DRTV agency partnership to optimize performance-driven campaigns and support overall brand growth for Vari through targeted, measurable television media strategies

Oversee affiliate marketing program strategy and execution, including partner recruitment, commission structure, and performance optimization to drive incremental revenue and increase brand visibility

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred, or the equivalent in professional experience.

7+ more years of experience, including hands-on experience managing performance-based traditional, digital media

At least 2 years' experience with managing agency and / or partner relationships

Experience directing, managing, measuring, and optimizing both B2B and B2C campaigns

Proficiency with and / or ability to manage and analyze performance in GA 360, AdWords, Bing, Yahoo / Gemini, Paid Social Platforms such as Facebook / Instagram and LinkedIn, DSPs and Ad Servers

Excellent communication skills and advanced use of the full Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, MSTeams, Word, Sharepoint,) as experience or willingness to learn project management software ClickUp

Executive reporting and presenting skills to capture results of media campaign management and reporting.

Experience with executing and managing Martech and ad tech platforms specifically media and sales campaign tagging requirements.

Advanced Excel skills a must, including but not limited to advanced formulas, advanced charting, pivot tables / reporting and macros

Experience with email campaign management (B2B and / or B2C) is a plus
