At
Pacific Office Automation
(POA), we’re a growth-minded technology partner that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Our mission is to empower organizations with secure, scalable, and efficient IT solutions — while helping our team members build rewarding careers in technology and consultative sales. At Pacific Office Automation, you’ll find an amazing technology company full of growth opportunities, great benefits, and passionate coworkers who aim to help you succeed. Among our company goals, we aim to be a long-term employer. That means providing employees with the training and certification they need to keep up with the fast-changing technology of our office machines, devices, and software. At POA, we believe that all voices can and should be heard, regardless of seniority or tenure. Position Help businesses conduct onsite Assessments to modernize, secure, and scale their IT environments. We’re looking for a sales-minded IT professional who can bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes. As an IT Sales Engineer / Technology Sales Consultant, you’ll work closely with our sales team and clients to identify opportunities, design tailored technology solutions, and drive growth in managed IT and cybersecurity services. This is not a hands-on engineering or helpdesk role — it’s a client-facing, consultative sales position that requires both technical understanding and strong business acumen. What You’ll Do Partner with Account Executives in your territory to identify, develop, and close Managed IT and Cybersecurity opportunities. This may require onsite meetings and travel to client sites. Meet directly with business owners, executives, and IT leaders to follow POA’s sales process to work with the assigned Account Manager to uncover challenges and present tailored solutions. Conduct monthly and/or quarterly IT sales training sessions to help your sales reps prospect effectively and follow POA’s Managed IT program guidelines. Lead, coach, and drive activity that generates and closes opportunities. Manage and support a large sales base (approximately 30-50 Sales Representatives)— enabling each to qualify opportunities, perform quality discovery sessions, set and meet expectations, and stay accountable to IT sales activity goals. Maintain speed, agility, and organization in managing multiple requests, quotes, and deadlines daily while balancing shifting priorities. Design high-level IT architectures and proposals aligned with clients’ operational, security, and compliance objectives. Generate and validate quotes, ensuring cost sheets, configurations, and supporting materials are accurate and submitted on time. Own the delivery of Statements of Work (SOWs) and project documentation, ensuring deadlines are met and handoffs to the post-sales teams are complete. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical decision-makers. Collaborate with Sales Representatives, Helpdesk, Project Management, and Technical Account Management teams to ensure seamless handoffs from proposal to implementation. Provide technical validation and pricing support during solution scoping and proposal development. Build and maintain long-term relationships as a trusted technology advisor. Stay current on emerging technologies, Microsoft Azure, networking, firewalls, servers, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, HIPAA, and PCI. What You Bring
