We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic
Water Resources Engineer
with 0-2 years of experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to kickstart their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. You'll gain hands‑on experience in water resources projects, primarily supporting municipal clients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

What you’ll do
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software.
Support senior engineers on various project tasks, including data collection, analysis, and design.
Assist with the development of reports, plans, and specifications.
Develop a strong understanding of water resources engineering principles, regulations, and software.
Work closely with experienced engineers, scientists, and planners.
Support the creation of high-quality project outcomes for our municipal clients.
Gain experience with ArcGIS for project support.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
with coursework in water resources (including hydrology and hydraulics).
0-2 years of professional experience
in water resources, or a strong internship/co‑op background in the field.
Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software:
Coursework or project experience with tools like SWMM, HEC‑RAS, and HEC‑HMS.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of GIS software:
Experience with ArcGIS is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving skills
and a desire to learn new concepts and technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Dependable and responsible
with a strong work ethic.
Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DMV record check, and be insurable.
