Job Description: BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented Associate ITS Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the planning and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by preparing engineering plans, technical reports, and communications infrastructure designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for fiber, ITS device communications, network communications, and signals
Prepare project reports such as Required Traceability Verification Matrices (RTVM), Concept of Operations (ConOps), Project System Engineering Management Plans (PSEMP), and ITS Power Reports; may also prepare lighting-related reports, such as Lighting Design
Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer;
May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers
Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks
Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field)
