Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • *Job Title:** Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer
  • *Location:** Hayward, CA / Fremont, CA
  • *Pay Range:** $73/hour
  • *What's the Job?**
  • Collaborate closely with production teams and Base Ops Service Operations to troubleshoot Manufacturing Systems and SAP S4 system issues.
  • Identify root causes of system issues and implement effective resolutions directly or in partnership with client's BizApps personnel and engineering teams.
  • Support day-to-day Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations at client's facilities.
  • Monitor and resolve MES data collection issues and SAP EAM system requests.
  • Assist in troubleshooting MES/S4 integration errors and support system maintenance activities.
**What's Needed?**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 4-6 years of experience in MES usage within a manufacturing environment, including requirements analysis, design, and solutions implementation.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ME/Mii/PCo and Kepware applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP EAM modules and vehicle system structures.
  • Basic knowledge of MES integration with PLCs using Kepware and OPC UA servers.
