The Professional Billing Team Lead supports leadership with day-to-day operations, by assisting team members with standard questions regarding Claims processes and Workflows. Provides identified needs or process updates to the leadership team. Assists with various AR vendors, to ensure they have what is needed for overturning claim denials. Supports leadership with identified trends, and payer escalation needs.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
At least seven years’ relevant work experience. Experience in supporting management with projects required.
Comprehensive knowledge physicians and/or hospital facility insurance and self-pay accounts receivable with contract reimbursement and/or denials management and/or claims appeals and/or claims follow-up and/or refunds and credit balance review and processing experience.
Advanced understanding of medical, billing and coding terminology for physician and/or hospital facility
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Salary Range: Minimum 18.74/hour - Maximum 29.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
