$135,200 $147,680 USD + 8% geographic differential About the Opportunity:

Texas Medical Center , recognized nationally for its excellence in cardiovascular care and innovation. This is an opportunity for an
experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
or
Physician Assistant
to join a world-class
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
team dedicated to the most complex cardiac and surgical patients. You'll collaborate with renowned physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary staff who are pioneering care models that improve survival and quality of life for patients with advanced heart failure and post-operative cardiac conditions. What You'll Do:
Provide comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and management for critical cardiac populations.
Manage post-operative CV surgery patients, open and endovascular aortic repairs, CABG/Valve procedures, and mechanical circulatory support cases.
Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to optimize recovery and continuity of care.
Participate in device training and credentialing (extensive onboarding support provided).
Ensure care aligns with hospital standards, evidence-based practice, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications:
MSN-AGACNP required.
23 years of RN, NP, or PA experience
in
critical care (CVICU or similar).
Experience with heart failure populations
(even from a mixed ICU).
Passion for
night-shift practice (6p6a)
within a high-acuity environment.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.;
no visa sponsorship available.
