Student Enrollment & Recruitment Ambassador Full‑time role, temporary; estimated end date: December 31 2025.

KIPP SoCal Public Schools is seeking a results‑driven and resourceful Student Enrollment & Recruitment Ambassador to spearhead efforts to meet ambitious student enrollment goals for our schools in LA County for the 2025‑26 school year. This role demands a proven ability to achieve results through strategic outreach, relationship‑building, and direct engagement with families.

As the Student Enrollment & Recruitment Ambassador, you will be accountable for generating a specified number of student interest forms and applications by actively canvassing door‑to‑door, making phone calls to prospective applicants, tabling in the community, and cultivating strong, positive connections with families in various settings.

Key Responsibilities

Generate lead applications and secure enrollment for your assigned portfolio of schools.

Represent KIPP SoCal by becoming an expert in the programs at your assigned school(s) and in the broader network.

Engage with families and community members at events, including tabling, block walking, and phone banking.

Create and maintain a comprehensive community asset map to identify and prioritize recruitment opportunities.

Develop and implement weekly targeted student recruitment plans, including outreach to local businesses, childcare centers, neighborhood block walking, and schools.

Track prospective family information at events using HubSpot and/or other systems, responding to all leads within 24 business hours.

Partner with the marketing team to create compelling, school‑specific social media content.

Plan and lead school tours for prospective families, addressing their questions and providing an engaging experience to strengthen their decision to enroll.

Assist with recruitment‑related activities as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications

At least a high school diploma.

Ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Commit to full‑time hours of 40 hours per week, some of which may occur on evenings and/or weekends.

Experience with data management, including data entry and reporting.

Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time (6‑8 hrs/day).

Reliable transportation to attend various locations in one day.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

Position starts at an hourly rate of $20 and is guaranteed through the end of the year, with potential for extension or transition to a school‑based or regional role.

100% of healthcare premium costs covered by employer; dependents added at 50% of the cost.

401(k) plan with up to 6% match by KIPP SoCal.
