Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency.
Implement regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot database‑related issues and provide solutions promptly.
Perform database tuning and fine‑tuning for enhanced performance.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure database security compliance.
Conduct periodic audits of database systems and ensure data integrity.
Assist in the design and implementation of database architectures.
Provide support during system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Ensure adherence to best practices and relevant industry standards.
Required Skills
Database Management:
Expertise in managing large, complex databases.
Database Performance Tuning:
Strong ability to optimize and tune databases for high performance.
Backup & Recovery:
Experience setting up and managing backup and recovery procedures.
Security Knowledge:
Strong understanding of database security, including encryption and access controls.
Troubleshooting:
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve database issues quickly.
Documentation:
Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes and procedures.
Communication:
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Clearance:
Active Top‑Secret Clearance is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in a government or security‑focused environment.
Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
Minimum 5 years of scripting experience.
Prior experience with Postgres or MongoDB.
Prior experience working with federal agencies or in cleared environments is a plus.

Assignment Type: Full‑time, Fully Onsite
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks of PTO (including sick leave; unused PTO paid out at year end)
Holidays: 2 floating holidays and eight public holidays per year
Health & Dental Insurance: Company covers 50% of employee health and dental insurance (dependents may be added at an extra cost); coverage becomes effective after 30 days
Life Insurance & Disability: Standard STD, LTD, and life insurance at no cost to full‑time employees
401(k) Program: Eligible after 90 days with a 4% company match and immediate vesting
