Territory Account Manager – Gemaire Distributors
Location:
Bakersfield, California, USA –
Full‑time , commission‑based salary range $70,000–$90,000.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain contractor relationships to drive sales of HVAC equipment.
Generate additional sales in the assigned territory and achieve or exceed individual sales budgets.
Prospect for new business, conduct a minimum of 25 face‑to‑face meetings weekly, and negotiate pricing within profit goals.
Provide customer‑focused service, resolve issues promptly, and deliver value through deep product knowledge.
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, vendor partners, and internal teams to schedule opportunities and attend industry events.
Maintain accurate records in CRM, forecast territory growth, and report on sales performance.
Participate in training, product shows, industry associations, and dealer meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree (A.A.) from a two‑year college or technical school.
2–4 years sales experience in HVAC wholesale or similar, with proven success in achieving sales targets.
Experience building residential and commercial contractor relationships.
Strong communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to use CRM systems for tracking and reporting opportunities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software quickly.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and continuous vehicle insurance.
Preferred – Optional Qualifications
Additional 2–4 years sales experience in HVAC.
Evidence of sales results outside the HVAC industry.
