Must be self-directed and display strong initiative to achieve goals. Generate additional sales in assigned territory. Grow market share and prospect for new business in assigned market. Support customers with a customer-focused approach and timely follow-through. Develop new dealers with programs and market strategies. Minimum of 25 face-to-face meetings weekly. Negotiate pricing while maintaining company profit goals. Achieve or exceed individual territory sales budget and contribute to regional budgets. Proactively develop sales and solve problems. Resolve customer problems promptly. Attend training to acquire new skills and knowledge. Work with vendor partners to identify and execute opportunities. Represent the company at dealer meetings, conferences, and related events. Participate in in-home product shows, utility-sponsored events, and industry associations as requested. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with contractors, customers, and employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school. Preferred 2-4 years of sales experience within the HVAC industry; 5-10 years of selling outside HVAC will be considered with proven sales results. Customer-focused, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines working collaboratively. Proven work history in sales and marketing with proficiency in air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level. 2-4 years of experience in residential and commercial contractor relationships. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Proven success in sales, marketing, operations, and leadership roles. Proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals. Ability to develop new customer relationships and expand existing ones in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager. Ability to forecast territory growth by analyzing the customer base. Experience with a CRM system to manage tracking and reporting of opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem-solving, and customer service. Ability to analyze sales and market data and to present as a business consultant. Ability to work independently while meeting goals within designated time frames. Desire to learn, teach, and lead. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Requirements
