About the Role As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and provide support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all relevant information for the best experience.

You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities.

Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and OMNI experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service.

Willingness to engage and have conversations with customers to provide excellent service.

Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.

Promote and sell our products to customers effectively.

Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.

Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.

Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

Keep up‑to‑date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.

Use your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.

Team & Development

Retain and share your service, fashion, and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.

Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.

Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.

Participate in relevant onboarding, introduction processes, and training and courses relevant for your role and future development.

Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution

Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.

Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.

Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.

Support garment presentation, execution, and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.

Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.

Follow best practice for any in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools.

Support opening and closing of the store.

Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role and responsibilities.

Experience working with customer service in fashion, retail, or other service‑related industries.

Compensation Sales Associates Pay Rate $12.25 per hour.
