Multi-Asset / Multi Alternatives Analyst

LGT Capital Partners (USA) Inc. is seeking to hire a Multi‑Asset / Multi Alternatives analyst for our two‑year program starting in July 2025 in our New York office location.
Responsibilities
Support Senior Portfolio Managers in investment management of Multi‑Asset funds and institutional mandates (development into deputy Portfolio Management role)
Support with portfolio management tasks including routing trades for funds, direct securities and derivatives, currency hedging and cash management
Liaise with in‑house asset‑class specific research and investment teams
Conduct multi‑asset class desk research
Collaborate in projects and tasks related to investment management
Support client servicing and business development
Requirements
University degree (bachelor’s degree or higher)
Relevant prior internship experience including: investment banking, asset management, private banking, business consulting
Essential technical skills include solid background in finance, detail‑orientation, and strong analytical and quantitative skills
Willingness to complete CFA, CAIA, FRM or similar program
Strong written and oral communication skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good team player who can also function independently
Energetic, flexible, and capable of working under time constraints
Sharp analytical mind with the ability to communicate and present findings clearly and concisely
Ability to work with colleagues at other global offices of the firm, and to manage communications and schedules accordingly
Legally authorized to work in the United States
