This position reports to: Sales Manager.
Your Role
Own the challenge of technical expertise & offer management.
Independently select products and prepare accurate technical/commercial offers.
Ensure fast, error‑free quotations (within 2 days) using professional templates.
Maintain consistency in customer-facing materials and value propositions.
Prepare costing sheets (FCM) and align with sales/SCM/operations to support order finalization.
Act as the technical go‑to for complex cases and large projects.
Collaborate with sales to define winning strategies, pricing, and margins.
Support full portfolio selling and identify new opportunities.
Participate in events, conduct trainings, and maintain account plans.
Coordinate with sales, partners, and internal teams for order booking, training, and execution.
Support project managers and order handlers post‑sale.
Ensure proper documentation and handover to operations.
Help with receivables collection and time‑sheet entries.
Maintain and update tools like SFDC, install base, and risk‑review databases.
Ensure high accuracy, responsiveness (even beyond working hours), and process improvement.
Collaborate across functions (SCM, HSE, Controlling) to enhance performance.
What it takes to succeed
2–4 years of experience with a comprehensive technical understanding of the Motion portfolio.
Understanding of commercial terms and conditions – defend and negotiate profitable and risk‑free contracts as per ABB guidelines.
Preferably knowledge of drive‑motor communication protocols to support development of power‑train and ABB Ability offerings.
Strong understanding of motors & drive as a system and relentless ownership, dedication and thoroughness.
