This Position reports to:

Service Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Motion Service division in Mexico.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

Penetrate the Installed Base (IB), promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions for customers and ABB. Understand the channel strategy, establish pricing, prepare sales plans, and propose recovery actions when needed. Generate service sales leads and explore new market opportunities using market trend insights. Act as a marketer and salesperson for ABB’s service products during campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in sales; experience in service for motors and drives is a plus. Technical knowledge of Drives and Electric Motors. Experience developing sales and marketing plans, preferably in industries such as metals, pulp & paper, cement, water, energy, or oil & gas. Advanced English communication skills. Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
