The Marketing Officer will report to the Marketing Director. This position is responsible for developing marketing promotions / campaigns using various channels (e.g. direct mail, the Internet, branch merchandising, radio, social media, etc.) to increase membership and product / service penetration.

This position is for our ASC location , (main campus) located at : 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, TX 78233

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Implement marketing initiatives that assist credit union branches / departments in meeting their strategic goals.

Develop and implement creative and innovative marketing projects / campaigns that are managed on time and within a reasonable budget.

Work in tandem with marketing and communications teams to manage projects from conceptualization to execution.

Build and maintain relationships with other credit union departments, designers, vendors and media partners to complete projects and meet deadlines.

Manage marketing efforts for specific credit union branches and increase membership and product penetration through targeted marketing initiatives.

Maintain consistent and effective communications both with members and employees throughout the course of promotions / campaigns to ensure maximum awareness.

Conduct necessary research in conjunction with Marketing Analysis team to understand marketing environment, current trends and outcome of promotions / campaigns.

Manage review process and complete rigorous proofreading and copyediting to ensure the production of the best quality end product.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications

Minimum of three years previous job related work experience

Significant experience in marketing

Must be able / willing to commute to the work location at : 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, TX 78233, hybrid schedule

Ability to manage projects and programs

Ability to function in a highly collaborative team environment

Familiarity with traditional and digital media channels, understanding of media terms, placements

Strong organizational and professional communication skills to help manage relationships with media vendors and internal teams

Attention to detail for monitoring campaign timelines, trafficking creative assets and ensuring deadlines are met

Proficiency in Excel for tracking media buys and budgets

Detail oriented and organized for managing multiple campaigns and deadlines

Knowledge of Microsoft applications; good communications skills
