Micron is hiring a SSD/DRAM Technical Customer Manager in Longmont, CO or Boise, ID. This is an exceptionally outstanding opportunity to support Micron's Enterprise and cloud datacenter customers team. The role is the primary interface between the customer and engineering/design centers, developing a long‑term relationship with the customer to support streamlined communication and qualification efforts that facilitate products being qualified in target customer applications with maximum efficiency.
Acting as a domain expert on the customer for product qualification requirements, you will proactively define qualification requirements and processes to shape a qualification plan that ensures success, provide an interface for the customer to engineering groups and design centers, and communicate customer qualification requirements and status to management, sales and development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading New Product Introductions (NPI) with customers and OEM/ODM partners, including managing configuration and change processes.
Familiarity with OEM/cloud product qualification workflows and the storage industry landscape.
Proven track record to align customer test requirements with internal design teams and advocate for customer needs.
Skilled in resolving partner concerns, implementing corrective actions, and managing customer relationships.
Strong executive presentation skills and business insight to assess and communicate customer impacts and trade‑offs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in storage or related high‑tech industries.
Proven experience working with sales, customers, engineers, and product development teams.
Strong project‑management skills and ability to manage customer communications and action logs.
Ability to communicate technical information professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Salary and Benefits The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates for this full‑time position is:
$122,000.00 - $224,000.00 .
