Position Summary The Inside Sales & Office Support Specialist will generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment setting. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, introducing them to Jani-King’s services, asking discovery questions to understand facility needs, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the outside sales team. You’ll also provide light administrative support by answering calls and scheduling disclosure meetings.
Key Responsibilities
High‑Volume Outreach: Drive outbound sales activity by making 100+ calls per day to targeted businesses in the Pittsburgh region, engaging decision‑makers, and meeting daily/weekly goals.
Qualify & Set Appointments: Ask thoughtful discovery questions to understand prospects’ facility needs, document key information, and secure qualified appointments for the outside sales team.
Lead Follow‑Up: Follow up with warm leads from inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, networking events, and prior calls to keep prospects engaged.
CRM Management: Maintain complete and accurate records of all outreach, conversations, and next steps in our CRM system.
Partner with Field Sales: Work in lockstep with the outside sales team to align territory strategies and confirm appointments with the right decision‑makers.
Campaign Support: Participate in targeted call campaigns around industries, seasons, or promotions.
Professional Brand Voice: Represent Jani‑King with professionalism and persistence.
Light Administrative Support (~4 hrs/wk): Answer and route front‑desk calls, manage voicemail inquiries, schedule franchise disclosure meetings, and provide general office support.
Results Tracking: Monitor activity against goals, use performance data to adjust strategies, and report progress to leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Prior telemarketing/inside sales/outbound calling experience required.
Documented success in meeting activity and appointment goals.
Excellent phone presence and rapport‑building skills.
Strong organization, note‑taking, and follow‑through.
Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
