Senior Test Engineer – Jet Propulsion Systems.
Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 annually plus benefits In-Person Job

Senior Test Engineer
will play a central role in shaping the future of
next-generation gas turbine engines
from a new, state-of-the-art test facility.
This is a
hands-on, high-impact engineering position
where innovation meets execution. You’ll be the technical lead behind major test programs—owning engine test design, data systems, and test cell operations. Every day, you’ll be surrounded by

Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of
engine operability and testing , leading all activities within the on-site test cells. Develop and continuously improve
testing tools, instrumentation, and data processing systems
that drive better insight and performance. Lead
end-to-end propulsion system test campaigns —from planning and setup to analysis and validation. Conduct
Sea-Level Static , simulated altitude, and flight-condition tests across both in-house and deployed sites. Partner directly with customers on
integration, flight testing, and troubleshooting , ensuring successful system performance. Design or modify
test components, fixtures, and flow benches —owning the entire lifecycle from concept to validation. Contribute to the company’s
Technology Roadmap , helping define the next generation of testing infrastructure and engine development capability.
Qualifications | What You Bring Bachelor’s degree
in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred). 7+ years in the gas turbine or propulsion industry , with
5+ years of hands-on test engineering experience . Proven ability to
design, instrument, and operate test systems
for mechanical and fluid performance testing. Deep understanding of
GD&T, ASME standards , and engineering first principles. Experience leading
Test Concept Reviews (TCRs)
and
Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) . Strong knowledge of
FADEC, ECUs , and communication protocols. Excellent written, verbal, and leadership communication skills. U.S. Citizenship required
(due to export-controlled work).
Preferred Experience Familiarity with
defense and aerospace propulsion standards (MIL-STD) . Knowledge of
CAN Aerospace protocols . Experience working with
aviation fuels (Jet-A, JP-8, JP-10)
and hazardous operations. Background in
electrical systems design
for testing infrastructure and engine components.
