What You’ll Bring

8+ years of experience in product management, with 3 - 5 years in a technical or platform role in a similar domain

Product management skills, including ability to guide new products through deployment

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!

Experience with synchronous APIs, caching strategies, and high‑availability architectures

Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Azure Data Factory

Real‑time decision‑making for inventory checks, fraud detection, and fulfillment path selection

Tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or New Relic to ensure uptime and performance

Ensuring accurate and reliable event handling in fulfillment workflows

Understanding of API security, secrets management, and runtime protection

Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar for real‑time event ingestion and processing

Knowledge of Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, or Kafka Streams

Impact You’ll Make Technical Product Management plays a critical role at TransUnion as the conduit between our Sales, Solutions, and Engineering organizations. Our Solutions team defines the “what and why” requirements and the TPM role partners with Solutions and Engineering on defining and executing the “how” technical requirements.

Accountability and Responsibility

Product/Platform strategy & roadmap: Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for product/platform capabilities (e.g., credit, marketing, fraud/APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tools).

Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to understand needs and translate them into platform features.

Technical requirements: Gather and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.

Product lifecycle management: Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of product/platform features — from ideation to launch.

Pay Scale Information The U.S. base salary range for this position is $126,700.00 – $190,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job‑related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, full‑time non‑sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long‑term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
