POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures proper set up and breakdown of all Banquet/Club functions. Manually moves furniture, glassware, silverware, plates, or other materials as well as perform other general labor.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Read banquet event orders (BEO) or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, materials, and equipment needs. Move furniture or other materials for set-up and maintenance. Breakdown to and from storage or production areas, by hand or using hand-trucks and as directed by BEO and management. Carry needed tools or supplies and return to designated areas after use. Utilizes proper storage methods for centerpieces, decor, and rental items. Ensure items are in safe keeping and are returned in full to rental companies or Members. Assists with inventories of banquet tables, chairs, linen, china, glass and silver. Ensures storage areas for inventory is secured. Stack furniture in locations such as basement or meeting rooms as directed. Connect electrical and/or audio visual equipment to power sources so that it can be tested before use. Arrange and dismantle props or equipment, such as dance floor, platforms, backdrops, or screens, using hand tools. Positions receptacles, such as bins, laundry carts, or other containers so they can be unloaded. Utilizing burnishing machine to polish silverware. Inspect banquet rooms daily and immediately report any problems to management. Assist Banquet wait staff, as directed, to bus tables, run food, and set up and replenish buffets. Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: 6 plus months of maintenance or banquet setup experience
