Overview CTG’s long-standing Fortune 500 client seeks an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to provide PLC-based troubleshooting, systems integration, and technical support for new production line installations. This role supports a Sr Controls Engineer and requires strong hands-on experience in industrial automation and controls.

Based on experience Work Hours:
M–F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Education:
Desired AAS or higher. Three additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of formal education (for a total of 10).
Responsibilities Troubleshoot and program PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems
Support new line installations and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in all project phases: design, integration, testing, and start-up
Train plant personnel and support technology transfer
Source and order automation components as needed
Required Skills & Experience 7+ years working with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems
Strong understanding of control systems design and structured programming
Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Manufacturing or industrial automation background required
