We are hiring immediately for full‑time janitor positions. The position is located at:

• Address: 3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47750 (Ascension St Vincent)
• Schedule: Full‑time, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including every other weekend.
• Requirement: Some janitorial experience is preferred.
• Perks: Shift and weekend differentials, and easy access to public transportation.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors according to approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return them to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
