Responsibilities As a Principal Technical Architect reporting into the SaaS Delivery Management Office, you will be a key stakeholder supporting the project team. You will work closely with our customer partner(s) in the implementation and conversion of their current PLM system to Windchill+. You will broker the PTC ecosystem to provide the necessary technical support required to design and configure a solution that meets the Windchill+ guardrails, and you will leverage your expertise to support the enablement of PTC's partner ecosystem.

PTC SaaS BDM's, PLM Segment and R&D for the technical assessment phase to qualify the technical feasibility of the opportunity and provide technical direction to the SI to support estimating and planning.

The customer/SI partner Project/Program manager to establish timeframes, schedules, deliverables, and the cadence of the project.

Implementation partner architect(s) to design, implement and validate solutions which are to be deployed in Windchill Plus SaaS environment.

PTC's R&D and PLM Segment on special projects to provide the customer experience and implementer's perspective to the continued development of our SaaS tools, services and features.

Partner Consultants and Developers to support configuration, data migration and integrations leveraging the core software and framework in a fashion that completely satisfies the client's requirements.

Client/partner business representatives to deeply understand the required solution functionality necessary to fully satisfy their business requirements.

Client IT/IS representatives to ensure that the proposed solution follows PTC SaaS guardrails and support the build and deployment processes.

Client/Partner executive personnel to ensure that overall program goals are in alignment with the client's high-level business objectives.

PTC executive personnel to ensure that the program is progressing along a satisfactory path that delivers maximum client value.

PTC and Partner Business Development leads to identifying future opportunities for expansion and business value.

PTC Enablement team in the development of artifacts, white papers, best practices, methodology and others to support the continued enablement of our partner base.

Your Day-To-Day

The pace of your day is faster than average and abounding with opportunities for both learning and leadership. During the course of a typical project, you will become the SI’s trusted advisor, helping them deliver value from technology and process improvements brought about through the implementation/conversion of PTC's Windchill+ solutions. You will have ample opportunity to provide direction and delegation to a team of outstanding contributors, all the while retaining ownership and accountability for client success. Another important component of your week is industrializing lessons learned in the field into training materials and job aids for the broader PTC and partner communities.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of consulting/implementing/distributing/supporting PLM systems or other Enterprise Applications.

Availability for overnight travel (15%).

Knowledge of cloud‑based infrastructure and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Experience in software development, build and deployment (JAVA, JSP, XML, Ant).

Windchill PLM experience.

Compensation PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants. The salary range for this position is $120,000–$165,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
