Required skills and experience
Minimum 3+ years of site safety management experience in a commercial construction setting. OSHA 510 certification (minimum); OSHA 10-hour required within 30 days of site start.
Experience in team and scope management. Training in First Aid, CPR, AED, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Emergency Procedures. Competency in NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). Mental Health First Aid training.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and technical safety advising.
Job description Responsibilities: Support the Safety Director in implementing safety processes on-site. Manage injury response, incident investigations, and communication. Oversee ACCO’s safety programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead and mentor field personnel and construction management on HSE and injury prevention. Collaborate with service department managers to foster a strong safety culture. Coordinate with clients and general contractors to meet safety standards. Conduct safety training and maintain safety records. Perform site inspections, hazard analyses, and incident investigations. Drive cultural change and coach leadership on proactive safety practices. Represent the company in environmental protection matters and regulatory audits.
