Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Maintenance Technician
to support a high-profile biopharmaceutical expansion project in Holly Springs. These roles will be essential in maintaining GMP-compliant safety protocols and developing lockout/tagout plans that meet OSHA, NFPA, and site-specific standards. Responsibilities Build, document, and manage LOTO plans using SOPs, equipment manuals, and P&IDs Ensure contractor and internal procedures meet GMP, OSHA 1910.147, and NFPA 70E standards Draft and oversee the completion of:
LOTO Permits
SSOW (Safe Systems of Work)
JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
LOTO Documentation Packets Support field lock and tag activities; verify isolation and zero-energy conditions Act as a technical resource for contractors and internal teams during commissioning activities Maintain clear and accurate documentation aligned with ALCOA principles Qualifications 3+ years of experience in EHS, safety planning, or LOTO programs in biotech/pharma/industrial settings Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs and electrical diagrams Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and GMP standards Exceptional communication and documentation skills
