The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dedicated to patient care, and interested in working in Urgent Care settings with pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities
Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures. Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referrals to other healthcare providers or community resources. Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Conduct preventive health assessments, screenings and immunizations. Operate within the scope of the role with critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
Physician Assistants
Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado PA-C certification (NCCPA) required for hire and maintained throughout employment Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications Eligibility to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid Eligibility to practice with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Nurse Practitioners
Master’s degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program NP certification from ANCC or AANPCB, required for hire and maintained Unrestricted nursing license or compact privileges as applicable Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges Full prescriptive authority Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications Eligibility for reimbursable services and provider status with Medicare and Medicaid Eligibility to practice with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Exceptional Benefits
