Responsibilities

Research and analyze various federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing issues, accounting methods, digital assets, and other matters

Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring

Draft emails and memos

Draft firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax

Assist with firm-wide trainings in federal income tax

Assist with federal domestic tax due diligence for M&A transactions

Qualifications Basic Qualifications

3+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience (large law firm, large accounting firm, or IRS preferred)

J.D.

Preferred Qualifications

Tax LL.M.

Experience working with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations

Strong analytical and writing skills

Strong proficiency with tax research databases (such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint)
