Responsibilities
Research and analyze federal income tax issues (partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, digital assets, timing, and accounting methods).
Assist with M&A tax structuring and internal restructuring.
Draft emails, memos, and firm‑wide alerts on current developments in federal income tax.
Provide support for firm‑wide training in federal income tax.
Assist with federal domestic tax due diligence for M&A transactions.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience (large law firm, large accounting firm, or IRS).
J.D. (required).
Preferred Qualifications
Tax LL.M.
Experience with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Proficiency with tax research databases (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint).
