Compensation ranges from $31,000 to $81,000 per year.

Job Description A Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistant implements treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by administering speech therapy services in the home and community.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality care and meet patient and family needs by implementing speech‑therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a speech‑therapist.

Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning, improving independence through skilled interventions.

Educate, coach, and empower caregivers to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines.

Ensure continuity of care after discharge by designing and instructing home exercise programs for patients and families.

Document patient services and care coordination in an electronic medical record.

Maintain confidentiality and patient confidence by safeguarding information.

Requirements

State license as required.

Current CPR certification.

Preferred: minimum of 1 year of experience.
